Seek Capital Adds Vice President Of Relationships

LOS ANGELES, CA – Michael Freeman, an experienced financial executive, joined Seek Capital as Vice President of Relationships this month. Freeman will oversee existing and new partner relationships to enhance the offerings to Seek Capital’s clients. Partnerships with leading lenders in the industry are at the heart of Seek Capital offerings and with Freeman on board, Seek Capital will continue its growth of offerings with a focus in and around:  working capital avenues, equipment finance and specialty lending options.

“I’m thrilled to join the Seek Capital team,” said Freeman. “I am excited to come into so many well-established partnerships. It’s incredible what the team here at Seek have accomplished thus far. I look forward to continuing building those relationships and to help introduce and nurture new partnerships.”

In addition to the business funding needs of the client, Freeman plans to expand the client experience in a number of ways, including setting up processes to better understand specific equipment needs in order to better match clients to the best financing options for their business needs.

“Adding someone of Michael’s caliber, experience and character to the team is a material addition to our management team. I look forward to working with Michael and seeing the impact he will have on our client experience,” said Roy Ferman, CEO of Seek Capital.

Freeman completed his formal education at Chapman University. He entered the finance industry as a mortgage banker in 1998. He later opened a large mortgage company operating in many states and established a commercial warehouse line of credit as a lender. Freeman has served as president of Quest Capital Group, which assists businesses with working capital and equipment leasing in order to expand and operate their businesses effectively. Additionally, he has served as president of Strategic Financial Group, a mortgage brokerage that provides residential and commercial mortgages.

In addition to residential and commercial lending, he expanded his financing services to include commercial equipment financing and working capital in 2011, when he had identified the need to assist small business owners in acquiring funds and equipment vital for their success. This experience will play a vital role in Freeman’s contribution to growing Seek Capital.

Freeman also served on active duty in the Army Corps of Engineers with service in Germany, Iraq and Ft. Bragg, North Carolina.
