Since YOLO Interiors’ founding 20 years ago, owner and principal designer Shelly Milgram has helmed the firm with a creative and inspiring hand, growing it from a one-person energetic startup to one of South Florida’s leading luxury interior design firms. Today, YOLO boasts a team of some of the most talented design professionals in the business and a Yolo & Co. online shopping platform, with plans to launch their own line of custom lighting and accessories in the coming year.

“We want to wow our clients in every aspect of what we do,” says Milgram. “Always upping our game and evolving to offer our clients more is part of that.”

It’s an evolution that offers a natural complement to YOLO’s sought-after design prowess and is very much in keeping with the firm’s bespoke attention to detail. From the first meeting, the team works hand in hand with their clients to achieve a design that meets both their functional needs and vision for the space. From there, Milgram and her team coordinate closely with the project’s architect to ensure every detail is considered.

“How do we configure each room so it functions beautifully for the client? Working with the architects as they design makes that happen,” explains Milgram. “We want every facet to be perfect, during both the building and interior design process.”

The final touches include ensuring furniture, lighting, window treatments, wallpaper, accessories, and other fine details fully realize the client’s dream for their space.

“I like to think of us as an interior design concierge service,” Milgram says. “Whatever you need, that’s what we do.”
